Newtown Road Race rescheduled to October 1st

Based on availability of the race timer, space at Dickinson Park and permission from the town, the 2011 Newtown Road Race has been rescheduled for Saturday, 10/1 at 9am. The time, course and location are the same as in the past and the race will be held rain or shine (barring another hurricane ). Couple of logistical items:

• If you preregistered you do not need to register again
• If you preregistered and picked up your bib/goody bag at New Balance, please bring your bib number to the race, the bib includes your disposable timing chip
• If you preregistered and did not pick up your bib/goody bag at New Balance, we will have a race packet pickup (includes bib and goody bag) at New Balance on Thursday and Friday, 9/29 and 9/30 from 2-7pm, or you can pick things up on race day morning.
• If you picked up your packet but lost your bib, please contact us at newtownroadrace@yahoo.com for instructions
• The Active.com site will reopen shortly with the new dates in case you know other people that would like to sign up
